What if I only have a 2024 W-2 or 1099 instead of my 2024 tax return?
Unfortunately, you can't use your 2024 W-2 or 1099 to verify your identity. You'll need to do one of the following:
- Find a copy of your 2024 tax return (for example a Form 1040) and get your AGI from that form
- Request a transcript to get your AGI or
- Use your prior year PIN
