The Kentucky Department of Revenue (DOR) made a few changes for the 2025 tax year. The standard deduction was increased to $3,270, and all tax thresholds increased.
We expanded support for the Nonresident-Reciprocal State Income tax Return so that a nonresident Married Filing Jointly couple can file it even if only one spouse qualifies. Also, Kentucky DOR added a new credit: Qualified Broadband Investment Credit.
