2025 Arkansas extension

An extension extends the time you have to file your return until November 15, 2026. If you need to pay taxes, you are required to pay the amount due by April 15, 2026.

You need to pay 90% of your taxes by April 15, 2026. If you pay late, you may be charged a 5% late penalty and interest (1.25% per month) on any unpaid taxes.

If you expect to owe Arkansas taxes:

An Arkansas extension is automatic with an accepted federal extension. Submit the voucher attached to Form AR1055-IT with your payment by April 15, 2026.
