The Arizona Department of Revenue (ADOR) made a few changes for the 2025 tax year. The standard deduction increased for all filing statuses to adjust for inflation. Small business income (SBI) tax returns
SBI tax returns follow the individual income due dates listed above and must be filed together with an individual income tax return.

If you filed your Arizona tax return electronically, you will receive your refund within 1-2 weeks after the Arizona Department of Revenue (ADOR) accepts the e-filed return. If you choose to direct deposit the refund, you can receive the refund in as little as five days after ADOR accepts the e-filed return.

You can use this payment option when you e-file with us.

If you e-file your tax return, mail a check or money order with your Form 140V.
Due by April 15, 2026
An extension extends the time you have to file your return by up to 6 months. If you need to pay taxes, you are required to pay the amount due by April 15, 2026. You need to pay 90% of your taxes by April 15, 2026. If you pay late, you may be charged penalties and interest on unpaid taxes.
To get a filing extension, you can do either of the following:
Apply for a state extension (Arizona Form 204). To apply for a state extension, file Form 204 by April 15, 2026. See Form 204 for details. You don't have to include a copy of the extension with your return when you file, but make sure that you tell us you filed an extension when you go through your Arizona return. If you must make a payment, use Arizona Form 204, or visit www.AZTaxes.gov to make an electronic payment.
OR
Use your federal extension (Form 4868). File your Arizona return by the same due date. You don't have to include a copy of your federal extension with your return, but make sure that you tell us you filed an extension when you go through your Arizona return.
