How does Phone Verification work?
Phone Verification is enabled by default when you have a phone number on your account. With this enabled we'll send a secure code to your phone every time you sign in. You'll be able to choose if you want the code sent via text or a phone call.
You'll then sign in to your account using your username, password, and the verification code we send you. To bypass having to enter a verification code every time you sign in, you can choose to have us remember your device.
Note: The most secure type of 2-Step Verification we offer is Authenticator App Verification. If you'd like to use a more secure 2-Step Verification method, we recommend you use that option.
