Wisconsin 2018 Tax Updates

The Wisconsin Department of Revenue has followed the example of the Internal Revenue Service and discontinued their simplified tax forms, Forms 1A and WI-Z.

Other changes for 2018 include increased limits for the tuition and fees subtraction and for the college savings account contribution subtraction. An additional amount of contributions to an ABLE account may also be allowed as a subtraction.

The Department of Revenue has also added a couple of new tax credits for constructing low-income housing and contributing to employee college savings accounts.
