Arkansas 2018 Tax Updates

The Arkansas Department of Finance and Administration made a few notable changes for the 2018 tax year. Unemployment income is no longer tax-exempt, while military pension income is now exempt from income tax.

Arkansas does not conform to some aspects of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act (TCJA). Because of this, there are three new forms this year: AR2106 (Employee Business Expenses), AR3903 (Moving Expenses), and AR4684 (Casualties and Thefts).
