Do I need to make 2021 Colorado estimated tax payments?

If you expect to owe $1,000 or more on your 2021 Colorado tax return after your withholdings and credits, you must make estimated tax payments. See Colorado Individual Income Tax Guide  for more information about estimated tax payments.

If wages are your main source of income and your employer withholds Colorado income tax from your paycheck(s), you probably don't have to make estimated tax payments.
