Questions & Answers

How do I know how much income belongs to Arkansas if I'm a part-year resident of Arkansas?

Part-year resident income is usually all income you received during the part of the year you were a resident of the state. You should also include any income you received from working in Arkansas during the part of the year you were a nonresident of Arkansas.

For example, if you received interest income evenly throughout the year and you lived in Arkansas for half the year, then you would include half of your interest income on this screen.

Also, if you received business income in Arkansas while living in another state, then you would enter any business income received in Arkansas on this screen.
