How do I file a Delaware extension?

To extend your due date for submitting your income tax return (from April 30, 2026 to October 15, 2026), you must submit the following to the Delaware Division of Revenue no later than April 30, 2026:

1. Your payment of any balance of tax estimated to be due for tax year 2025 AND
2. The completed copy of Form PIT-EXT.
