Who is included in the tax household?

Also known as the Shared Responsibility Family, the tax household includes the following individuals:

• The taxpayer;
• The taxpayer's spouse (if filing D-40 jointly or separately on the same return); and
• Any dependents that the taxpayer claimed or could have claimed on their D-40.
