Qualifying Health Care Coverage means:
- Minimum essential coverage as defined by the Internal Revenue Code. This includes:
- Employer-sponsored plans, including COBRA and retiree coverage
- Individual health coverage
- Marketplace insurance from healthcare.gov or a state exchange
- Medicare
- Medicaid
- CHIP, TRICARE, veterans health care programs, and Peace Corps Volunteer plans
- The Immigrant Children's Program; and
- Health coverage provided under a multiple employer welfare arrangement (that complies with federal law and regulations).
