  • Minimum essential coverage as defined by the Internal Revenue Code. This includes:
    • Employer-sponsored plans, including COBRA and retiree coverage
    • Individual health coverage
    • Marketplace insurance from healthcare.gov or a state exchange
    • Medicare
    • Medicaid
    • CHIP, TRICARE, veterans health care programs, and Peace Corps Volunteer plans
  • The Immigrant Children's Program; and
  • Health coverage provided under a multiple employer welfare arrangement (that complies with federal law and regulations).
