What college savings program contributions qualify for the Illinois subtraction?

Contributions you or your employer on your behalf made to the following programs qualify for the Illinois subtraction:

• "Bright Start" College Savings Pool
• "Bright Directions" College Savings Pool
• "College Illinois" Prepaid Tuition Program

You may not subtract contributions made to any other college savings program.

If your contributions were made by rolling over funds from another college savings program into one of the eligible Illinois programs, you may not subtract income that was earned in the other program and rolled over into your Illinois account.
