What charities are disqualified for Oregon purposes?

Oregon doesn't allow deductions for charitable contributions to charities that don't spend at least 30% of their annual functional expenses for program services. You can find a list of disqualified charities on the Oregon Department of Justice  website.

If you donated to a disqualified Oregon charity after the charity's disqualification date , included the donation in your federal itemized deductions, and if you're itemizing on your Oregon return, enter the total amount you donated to disqualified charities on the Oregon Miscellaneous Additions to Income screen (State > Miscellaneous Additions).

If Miscellaneous Additions isn't showing in the State navigation dropdown, go to the Oregon Additions to Income screen (State > Additions to Income) and answer Yes to the question at the bottom that asks if you have any other additions you need to claim for Oregon. Click Save and Continue and you'll be taken to the Oregon Miscellaneous Additions to Income screen.
