What do I enter for my paid preparer firm name?

The firm name is only required if you're not self-employed.

If you're self-employed and don't have a firm name, you can leave the firm name blank and we'll automatically use your name for the firm name.

If you're not self-employed, enter the name of the firm you work for. If you don't have a firm name, enter your own name as the firm name.
