What ABLE contributions qualify for an increase to the ABLE contribution limit?
If you work, you may be able to contribute above the annual ABLE contribution limit of $19,000. The amount of increase allowed is equal to the smaller of your compensation and the poverty line amount for a one-person household.
You can't contribute over the ABLE contribution limit if your employer made a contribution for you to a 401(a) or 401(k) defined contribution plan, 403(a) or 403(b) annuity contract, or a 457(b) eligible deferred compensation plan.
