What is a relative for purposes of determining if the child is a Qualifying Child?

A person is a relative for this purpose if the child is that person's son, daughter, stepchild, foster child, brother, sister, half brother, half sister, stepbrother, or stepsister. The child can also be a descendant of any of these relationships as well (for example, a niece or nephew).
