What is the Utah my529 Plan Contributions Credit?

Each Utah taxpayer is entitled to a nonrefundable tax credit for contributions to a my529 account during 2025.

The credit is 4.55% of the total contributions that you made to a my529 account during 2025, subject to limits on the maximum amount of credit. The credit does not phase out based on your income. Married couples taking the tax benefits are not required to have separate my529 accounts.

Contributions are reported in Box 1B of Form TC-675H if your filing status is married filing jointly and Box 1A of Form TC-675H for any other filing status.

Keep Form TC-675H with your records.
