Why did my session end?

Your session may have ended for one of these reasons:
  • The internet connection was lost.
  • You were already signed into another account. For example, if you have your account open, then you use another browser and sign in to your child's tax return, you'll get this message. You can't have two accounts open at the same time on the same computer.
  • You've signed in and tried to access a previous session with your back button.
  • Your browser isn't set to accept cookies. Verify that your browser settings allow cookies either for all sites or set it to accept cookies for our website. Cookies are needed to maintain the session.
