What adjustments can I enter for a stock or investment sold?

You can enter the following adjustments:
  • Code B: Your 1099-B or consolidated 1099 shows an incorrect basis
  • Code C: Your 1099-B or consolidated 1099 is for the sale of a collectible
  • Code D: Your 1099-B or consolidated 1099 shows an accrued market discount in Box 1f
  • Code E: Your 1099-B or consolidated 1099 doesn't correctly reflect selling expenses or option premiums
  • Code M: You have multiple transactions
  • Code N: You received a 1099-B or consolidated 1099 as a nominee for the actual owner
  • Code T: Your 1099-B or consolidated 1099 shows an incorrect type of gain or loss in Box 2
  • Code O: Other adjustments
  • Code W: Wash Sales
  • Code Y: Previously Deferred Qualified Opportunity Funds
  • Code Z: Qualified Opportunity Funds
  • Expired or worthless stock
