What is the amount shown in Box 10 on my estate Schedule K-1?

If an estate or trust distributes income in respect of a decedent (IRD), you are allowed to deduct the portion of the estate tax that is attributable to the IRD distributed to you. You can deduct the amount you enter in Box 10 as a miscellaneous itemized deduction.
