If Box 7 on your 1099-MISC is checked, $5,000 or more of sales of consumer products was paid to you on a buy-sell, deposit-commission, or other basis. A dollar amount does not have to be shown. Generally, any income from your sale of these products is shown on Schedule C.
If your 1099-MISC only has Box 7 checked, you should have received a 1099-NEC that reports the income amounts. In this case you shouldn't enter the 1099-MISC if it doesn't have any income and only has Box 7 checked.
Make sure to enter any 1099-NEC you received.
