There are two types of home office expenses:
- Expenses that apply to your entire home
- Expenses that apply only to your home office
If you enter expenses that were made for your entire home, we'll allocate a percentage of those expenses to your home office.
If you enter expenses that apply only to your home office, you'll be able to deduct the full amount of these expenses. However, expenses that apply to only your home office (and not the rest of the home) are not common. Some examples might include repairs made only to the home office or interest on a loan for remodeling only the home office.
