Form 1095-A provides information about your Marketplace coverage, including who was covered and when the coverage was in effect.
You can use the information from
Form 1095-A to determine if you're eligible for the
Premium Tax Credit.
If you received advance payments on
Form 1095-A, Lines 21-33, you must file a tax return and include
Form 8962. Filing your return without reconciling your advance payments will delay your refund and may affect future advance credit payments.
On the
Marketplace Health Insurance (Form 1095-A) screen of the
Deductions/Credits tab, make sure you report the information that you received on the 1095-A, and then
Form 8962 will be included with your return.
Don't attach
Form 1095-A to your tax return. Keep it with your tax records.
What if I don't see the Health Insurance section?
