Paying by electronic payment

To make an electronic payment, you can use the Electronic Federal Tax Payment System (EFTPS) tax payment service. The EFTPS tax payment service is provided for free by the U.S. Department of the Treasury. Go to the EFTPS website for more information on how to make an electronic payment.

Note: If you plan on only making one electronic payment, Direct Pay may be a better option since you don't have to create an account to use Direct Pay.
