What is the recapture of the Low-Income Housing Credit?

You may need to repay the Low-Income Housing Credit if one of the following happened and you didn't follow the procedures that would have prevented recapture of the credit:

• The qualified basis of the building decreased from one year to the next.
• You disposed of the building.
• You disposed of your interest in the building.
