Cash income

Cash income from self-employment such as consulting, freelancing, or contracting needs to be entered as business income on a Schedule C. Enter it in the Business Income (Schedule C) section.
Menu Path: Income > Business / Rental Income > Business Income (Schedule C)

If the cash is not from self-employment income, then enter it on the Other Sources of Income screen.
Menu Path: Income > Uncommon Income > Other Income
