Making Corrections to a Tax Return
If the IRS rejected your tax return, sign in to your account on our website. You will be taken to the FreeTaxUSA Rejection Notice screen which will display the rejection message.
You can then click Continue to be taken back into the application where you will be able to make any necessary changes/corrections before submitting your tax return again. In order to submit your tax return again, you will need to click the Send Tax Return button on the Submit Return for Processing screen.
If you already mailed your return or the IRS accepted your e-filed return and you need to make a correction, you will need to file an amended tax return. See Amended Tax Return
