EE Savings Bonds
If you cashed in EE Savings Bonds to pay for college tuition, you most likely need to file Form 8815.
If you need to file Form 8815, enter the amount of EE bond interest from Box 3 of your 1099-INT form. After you're finished entering all of your 1099-INT forms, we'll take you through the screens to enter information for Form 8815. Continue on Your Investment and Savings Accounts until you reach Series EE or I Savings Bonds.
