Clothing Donation
Menu Path: Deductions/Credits > Itemized Deductions > Donations
Enter the value of your donated property, such as clothing or used appliances, on the Donations to Charities screen as Noncash Donations.
Used clothing donated to a qualified charity, such as Goodwill Industries, can be taken as a tax deduction on Schedule A as an itemized deduction. The amount of the deduction is generally the value of the clothing if it would have been sold at a used clothing store.
