What are the total wages that I should enter for the Small Business Health Care Tax Credit?

The amount that you should enter is the total wages paid to both full-time and part-time employees during the current tax year.

Only wages that are paid for hours of service are taken into account. Wages, for this purpose, mean wages as defined for FICA purposes (wages subject to social security and Medicare tax withholding determined without considering any wage base limit).

Wages paid to family members, business partners, or seasonal employees who worked 120 days or less should NOT be added.
