How do I link my 1099-MISC to a royalty (Schedule E)?
Menu Path: Income > Uncommon Income > Royalty Income (Schedule E)
You can link your 1099-MISC to a royalty (Schedule E) on the Link 1099-MISC screen of your Schedule E.
On that screen you'll see a list of unlinked 1099-MISC forms. Check the box to link the 1099-MISC to the royalty.
If you need to enter a 1099-MISC for your royalty, you can enter it on the Your 1099-NEC or 1099-MISC Income screen.
