How do I link my 1099-MISC to a rental (Schedule E)?
Menu Path: Income > Business / Rental Income > Rental Income (Schedule E)
You can link your 1099-MISC to a rental (Schedule E) on the Link 1099-MISC screen of your Schedule E.
On that screen you'll see a list of unlinked 1099-MISC forms. Check the box to link the 1099-MISC to the rental.
If you need to enter a 1099-MISC for your rental, answer Yes to the question on the Link 1099-MISC screen that asks if you received a 1099-MISC for your rental.
