Wages and Salaries (W-2)
Form W-2 reports the wages and salaries you earned during 2025. Enter any 2025 W-2s you received from your employer. If you haven't received your W-2, you need to wait until you get one. Your employer is required to give you your W-2 by January 31st (or the next weekday if this falls on a weekend). If you've lost your W-2, ask your employer for a new copy.
Don't combine W-2s here, enter each separately. Don't enter any W-2s from 2024 or earlier here, only include 2025 W-2s.
If you have a W-2 for your child, don't enter your child's W-2 on your tax return. You need to file a separate tax return to report your child's wages.
If you have other types of income, you'll see options to enter each type of 1099, W-2G, self-employed income (usually filed on Schedule C), etc. further down on the screen. Keep scrolling down, and you'll see all the different types of income you can enter.
