How is blindness defined?

Mark yes to the question if you were either completely or partially blind as of December 31, 2025.

Partially blind means one of the following:

• You can't see better than 20/200 in your better eye with glasses or contact lenses
• Your field of vision is 20 degrees or less.

You'll need to get a statement from your eye doctor or optometrist verifying the condition of your vision to keep with your tax records.
