CP 60 Notice

What is the CP 60 notice telling me?
This notice informs you that the IRS removed a payment mistakenly applied to your account. As a result, there is now a balance due, and the IRS is requesting payment.

What do I have to do?
If you agree with the change, pay the amount due as shown on the notice. Mail them your payment in the envelope they sent you. Include the bottom part of the notice to make sure they correctly credit your account.
