Are contributions made through my employer included in my income?

Contributions to your HSA made through your employer aren't included in your income.

You can't claim contributions made through your employer on your behalf as an adjustment to income. If you made HSA contributions through your employer, those amounts are already shown in Box 12 of your W-2 with code "W." They also lower your Box 1 W-2 wages by the total of any contributions you made to your HSA plan. This means you aren't eligible for an extra HSA Deduction on your Form 1040.
