Can I prepare a tax return for the prior year?
Our website offers prior year tax return preparation for 2018 through 2024.
To prepare a prior year return:
Please be aware that only certain prior year returns can be e-filed. The only way to submit most prior year returns is to print and mail the return.
To prepare a prior year return:
- Go to the FreeTaxUSA home page
- Select the "Prior Returns" link located in the Account menu.
- Click on the year you would like to access and follow the prompts to access that software.
