Where do I enter my Earned Income Credit (EIC)?
Menu Path: Deductions/Credits > Common Deductions/Credits > Earned Income Credit
If your income is below the EIC threshold, and you meet other qualifying criteria for the EIC, then the Earned Income Credit Questions screen will appear in the Deductions / Credits section of the software. Answer the questions there, and the software will determine if you qualify for the EIC. We'll calculate the EIC amount based on your tax return information.
If you don't qualify for the EIC, you can see why on the Earned Income Credit Summary screen.
