What do I do with a W-2 with only local wages or multiple local counties and cities shown in Boxes 18, 19, and 20?

Sometimes a company will issue multiple W-2 forms for the same job to report various local income in Boxes 18, 19, and 20 of the W-2. Do not enter multiple W-2 forms for the same job, or your federal wages income could be overstated on your tax return.

You can add up to six local wages for different cities or counties on a W-2 in Boxes 18, 19, and 20. Enter those on a single W-2 for the same job.
