Where do I enter my IRA contributions?
Menu Path: Deductions/Credits > Common Deductions/Credits > IRA Contributions
Enter your IRA contributions on the IRA Contributions screen. If you are covered by a retirement plan at work, be sure to check the Retirement Plan box in Box 13 of your W-2 since that affects the IRA deduction calculation. If you are covered by a retirement plan at work and your income exceeds the IRA deduction threshold, your IRA contribution will not be deductible on your tax return.
