On my W-2, I get an error message saying the Employer State ID contains invalid characters

The W-2, Box 15 Employer's State ID Number can only have numbers, letters, and hyphens. Be sure to review your W-2 form and enter the Employer State ID without the invalid characters, then select Save and Continue.
