How do I refile my tax return?
If your e-filed tax return was rejected by the IRS, then you can sign in to your account, make any changes needed, and refile your tax return by continuing through the Final Steps menu.
If the IRS accepts your tax return, then you will need to do an amended tax return to make changes to your original tax return. To amend your return, please sign into your account and click on the Account menu in the top right corner of your screen and then choose the Amend Tax Return option.
