How do I change my username?
You need to sign in to your account to change your username. Once you sign in, click Account at the top of your screen and select Account Info. This will bring you to the Edit User Profile screen where you can change your username, password, passkeys, 2-step verification settings, email address, messaging preferences, and phone number.
When changing your username, remember that the best username will be one you will remember. However, we suggest that you do not choose a username that can be easily guessed, like your name or email address. Also, don't use sensitive information like your Social Security number. Please memorize your username and keep a written copy of it in a safe place.
If you have forgotten your username, you can recover it using the "Forgot username or password?" tool located on the Sign In screen.
