My e-filed tax returns were rejected and I had to print and mail my tax returns. Why am I charged a fee?

The fee we charge is only for the preparation of your state tax return. We do not charge a fee for e-filing. Due to various circumstances, some tax filers may choose or need to mail in their returns. The preparation fee is the same regardless of the filing method you use.
