How do I file my tax return?
After you have entered all of your tax information such as W-2 forms and dependents and are ready to e-file your tax return, you will go to the Review Tax Return screen near the end of the software. Review your tax return forms to make sure they are complete and accurate.
Once you are confident you have entered all of your tax information and are ready to file your taxes, press the Continue button on the Review Tax Return screen and continue through several more screens such as the Electronic Signature (E-file PIN) screen.
You will then reach the Let's send in your tax return screen. Once you click the Send Tax Return button on that screen, your federal tax return will be e-filed. If you purchased a state tax return, then your state return will also be e-filed when you click the Send Tax Return button.
