How can I enter decimals (cents) with my prior year AGI?

Your 2024 return (including the AGI) should NOT have any decimals since the IRS typically requires software providers and taxpayers to use rounded amounts on tax returns.

So your 2024 AGI should be a rounded number without decimals. The IRS doesn't allow you to put in any decimals here for that reason.

If you filed by hand last year or for some other reason included decimals on your 2024 return, just enter your 2024 AGI as a rounded number.

Also, please note if you did file by hand last year and mailed in your return, depending on when you mailed it, it's possible that the IRS hasn't processed your tax return yet. If you think this applies to you, you can enter $0 as your 2024 AGI. We recommend you try entering your actual 2024 AGI first, and then if you're rejected, you can try again, entering $0 before resubmitting.
