Do I need to report household employee taxes withheld if I already paid them to the IRS?

Yes, if you withheld any federal income taxes from wages you paid to household employees you should report these here. Only include federal taxes withheld and not social security or medicare taxes here.

Employee withholdings entered here will reduce your refund (or increase your tax due). If you already paid these withholdings to the IRS in 2025 as estimated tax payments (directly or through a payroll service), make sure to also enter them here: Menu Path: Misc > Payments > 2025 Estimated Tax Payments.

Note: If you made multiple payments during a quarter (with each paycheck, for example), follow these instructions.
