How do I delete a passkey from my device?

Deleting passkeys can vary by device. Generally, you'll need to open up whichever service/app/password manager you stored your passkey with and go to that application's settings.

Then, select to delete your FreeTaxUSA passkey. If you have more than one FreeTaxUSA passkey, be sure to delete the correct one.

Below are some examples of how to delete passkeys with common passkey storing applications:

Apple/Safari

1. Open up your device's settings.
2. Select "Passwords".
3. Choose your desired passkey from the list of passwords/passkeys.
4. Choose to delete your desired passkey.

Android

1. Using your phone's search tool, search "Password".
2. Choose "Passwords, passkeys, and autofill" from the results.
3. Scroll and locate your desired passkey from the list of passwords/passkeys associated with FreeTaxUSA.
4. Choose to delete your desired passkey.

Google

1. In Google Chrome, go to your Chrome settings.
2. Click "Autofill and passwords".
3. Click "Settings".
4. Click "Manage passkeys in your Chrome profile".
5. Choose your desired passkey from the list of passkeys.
6. Choose to delete your desired passkey.

A General Password Manager

1. Open up whatever password manager you use.
2. View your stored passwords/passkeys.
