Yes, your wages as an election worker are taxable and should be reported to the IRS. Normally, if you earned $600 or more in a calendar year as an election worker you should receive a Form W-2 from your state or local government.
If you received a Form W-2 you can report it with any other Form W-2s on the the Your Wages (Form W-2) screen.
If you didn't receive a Form W-2 you can report your wages as Miscellaneous Income on the Other Sources of Income screen.
Sometimes, however, election workers may receive other tax document reporting your pay through a 1099-NEC, 1099-MISC, or other form. If this is your situation, you can choose to report these wages using those document types or as Miscellaneous Income as described above.
